The Georgia Retreat was a Huge success !! Thank YOU!

Chanelle started her professional career in her hometown of Washington, DC over 30 years ago. She started out as an Executive Assistant to the VP of Marketing & Advertising at BET. After 7 years, she felt burnt out with traveling, product development, Expos and running that concrete jungle life. She ditched the pumps for flip flops, marriage and a big family in the South. She's been in NORTH GA for 22 years now and has 3 children and is on the road to becoming an empty nester. Soon after her son was born, she purchased a Scrapbook store with 2 locations and ran both until her kids started elementary school. He's 21 now!!! She opened many businesses in between before starting another career in Project Administration in the Construction Industry. As a Project Coordinator, she has planned countless luncheons, Topping Out Parties, Corporate Meetings, Retreats and Fundraisers. She raised over $100,000 for the USO Troops thru a Golf tournament she helped organized. Now as Compliance Manager for another big construction company she reviews paperwork all day and packs pins all night! She has now put all of those skills to work in the fiber industry. She is the proud owner of Channypeascorner, LLC where she designs and sells enamel pins online in her shop, to major retailers, and to over 30 Local Yarn Shops. Her pin designs have been published in Simply Knitting and Crochet magazines. She has a pin club (Queen of Yarn) with 73 subscribers and now she's embarking on her very first Fiber RETREAT, at Lake Lanier Islands.  Thank you so much for being a part of this great weekend.
